30" x 30" Table Topper
Ladies..don't panic, but this pattern uses a template! One that you make yourself! This very much appears to be like a stacked quilt project, but...we are only making one medallion. The diamond shapes are cut exactly the same from a stripe or floral print fabric. By making your own template from frosted template plastic, you can trace the image of a flower, or leaf, or something easily found in your fabric repeats. The only thing to keep in mind when selecting your fabrics, is that you need to have 8 repeats. You might be able to get by with 3/8 of a yard, or you might need more, depending on how large the floral repeat is in your fabric.

Fast and easy, this table topper is a cinch to make! Large pieces help to make it fun. Choosing only 3 fabrics keeps it simple!
For another option, purchase an additional half yard of fabric. Cut 2 squares 13 1/2". Cut in half once diagonally to create four large triangles. Add these large triangles to the "corners" of the quilt to make it square. Trim away the excess fabric. You now have a square table topper, or a wall quilt!
